Writ of mandamus

In the Family court divorce case and perjury case are ongoing in parallel. The divorce case is filed by my wife and in response to that I filed the perjury case. There are number of cases in India where High Court has given order to the Family court or Other court where family matters are taken care of, that if perjury case is accompanied with other family related cases then perjury case has to be given first priority and should be decided first than other family related cases. Two of such cases are cited here.

Now can I make a writ petition of mandamus in the high court so that the high court direct the family court to decide the perjury case first and then the divorce case?

As my lawyer is telling that this type of writ will be dismissed in the first day, that is why I asked this question in open forum. Should it be done under article 226 or under 227 of constitution?
