Woman member harassing kids and everyone in coop housing soc

Hi I am a member of a society in mumbai. There is a woman who is a married daughter of a member living with her 3 young kids in one flat out of 26 flat society. There are 12 other kids in society. This woman always wants her kids to play separately and tries to bully the other kids. She constantly tells them to go and play in a different place because her daughters want to ride bicycles or some other game. This woman has problems with almost all other members and watchmen too. We have already complained to the society commitee and submitted a written complaint. There was an instance when she hit one child with a badminton racket because he came in between when her daughters were playing and warned him not to come again otherwise she will hit him again. The boy had lost his mother few months before this incident and his grandmother fought with this woman and complained to society (also wrote a letter). All kids from society have written to secretary in their own words and handwriting how she abuses them verbally and emotionally. My question is.. what can we do to put a stop to this abuse of kids at the hands of this psycho woman ? Thanks Bn

Complain to the managing committee and Registrar that the women is responsible for intentional infliction of emotional distress to kids, Mental torture, Byllying , cruelty andHarassment ubnder both civil(TORT) and criminaL law(Section498A and 306 of IPC) and wait and watch what action these authorities take against the lady member abuser of kids in Cooperative Housing society.

Thanks for your prompt response ms. Kapoor..we have already complained to managing commitee in writing..they sent her a warning letter but she didn't accept. MC has not sent a registered notice again. We sent another written complaint to MC as her behaviour got worse. MC had a meeting with her but no solution in sight. So far these are the steps taken by us and the MC. What next ? Should police be involved or just complaint to registrar ?

You file criminal cases as well as civil cases of intentional infliction of emotional distress of harassmnent, mental torture, and cruelty both civil and criminal cooperative and criminal courts,.You'fd get the desired relief.You file a police complsaint first and serve anm FIRon that lady.Investigation would folllow and soon police will file chargesheet in the Magistrate court(criminal court).After final hearing if the proosecution successfully proves the case such sas bullying and harassment, mrental cruelty against women and chikdren of your flat members etc with all the evidence in your possession by that lady the Magistrate may award suitable punishnment to her.You can proceed civilllyand in cooperative courts also for legal remedies against the criminal lady.Civil and cooperative courts may award hefty compensation against that lady.It isagainst the byelaws.
