Hi all !!
I have a query . My father is a senior citizen and had an accident for which he paid Rs 40,000 in the hospitalisation and treatment. Can he use these expenses to claim tax exemption for the year 2013-14 and if yes what is the limit . Thanks

No, there is no way he can claim his accident expenses except as a business expenditure, that too by stretching arguments.
