Wife sent letter to husbands office

Dear Experts, pls advice.\

friends wife has sent a letter to his office to deduct his salary and send it to her as maintainence amount, she has also alleged harrassment and illtreatment in that letter, boss has not yet summoned him to office but he has got this news through his relatives that the letter has been dispatched and it will be received in office in couple of days. my question is

can the office deduct his salary directly and send it to her?

there are no legal cases going on in any court yet for maintainence

if the boss takes some action 'sou moto' what action can he take against the boss?

can the husband use that letter against her to prove mental cruelty to him, defamation in work place and harrassment?

can the husband take  any action against the boss if the boss threatens him with action?

please advise as he is on the verge of resigning from the post

thanks

First of all only courts can grant maintenance to the unemployed wife or husband if at all she/he files a petition for maintenance. other than that no one can deduct your salary on behalf of maintenance basing on a simple matter as ours is democratic country. organisations or bosses cannot enter into your family life.

regarding your boss threats as a procedure you complain to the higher officials. if justice was not done then you can approach concerned police station for extortion by your bass
