Hello learned counsels,
Wife has filed a Criminal revision in high court against the family court Interim orders. She had signed the affidavit as if she was in Bangalore, India. But a month before the day, that is mentioned in the affidavit she had left the country and stayed in US. She had signed the papers through post I guess. The affidavit mentions the date and place of signing. What is the punishment for this act? and under which section?

If you are able to prove that she was in US at the time of signing the docs, you can go for perjury, since you are not sure and you cannot file perjury based on GUESS. You should have proper evidence to prove your case otherwise she can go for defamation.
