Wife filed divorce

Hi,

wife filed divorce case on me. How to proceed further? Iam underground presently with pending 498a.

pls help me

File for bail petition. File a petition for quashing FIR in high court. or you surrender yourself to the concern police station.

There is no need to remain underground, but you should cooperate with the Police in investigation. They are under direction not take any hasty action against the accused.

Why are you underground? File for bail petition and take bail. Anyway she want divorce then try MCD. It will save your time. If she doesn't agree for MCD and you also want divorce then dnt contest divorce.let it become exparte. If you contest you will waste a decade in court.
