Wife asking for income proof

I am working in private company. JMFC court had ordered interim maintenance of Rs 8000 p.m , My C.T.C salary is 34000 & after deducting loan i am getting 14000 p.m. I had also submitted my salary slip to court. But my wife had filled RTI to my company regarding my income proof. What should i do ?

Dear Paras Singh,

RTI Act is not applicable to Private company.

Eventhough some precaution should be taken from your end.

you can OPT for BER Reimbursment in your company & so it may not show in IT returns.

Another option OPT for Variable Provident fund.

You are a private employee. Please change your job and show in the court that you are jobless.

would not suggest to give false statements in court. in case your wife finds out that you are employed when you are showing yourself jobless, she can file case of perjury and judge takes such matter very seriously and can award high maintenance to you
