Why bail to jayalalitha but not to sahara chief subrta?

Why supreme Court granted Bail to Jayalalitha but refused Bail to Sahara Chief?

Offences against Jai lalita are for earning money by unfair means and offences against suboth sahara is against public i.e. share holders.

But offence of Jai Lalita to earning money in unfair way by not paying income tax properly.

Not paying income tax properly also impacts public welfare.

better none of us who has seen all papers should comment.

N.K.Assumi (Advocate)     19 October 2014

Yes, Sir Sudhir Kumar we need to look all the papers. But it can be easily made out that both are unlawful gains from public money, and when charge sheeted penal section will almost be the same don't you think so?

there is a basic difference.  One was public servant and other was not.

without accesss to papers we should not discuss anything on the merits of the cases.
