Who is eligible to file the Revision Petition
State has lodged a false case of IPC 498A/506/34. I have been discharged by Judicial Magistrate. Now my father-in-law filed a Revision Petition u/s 397/399. My question is Who is eligible to file the Revision Petition? Though the state has lodged the case of 498A, is my father-in-law is eligible to file the Revision Petition or State?

Any person who knows facts can file Revision ... because all shall work for good society. Hence law never say who has to file the case.
If you see a person doing muder/crime will you start thinking about who has to call police to control crime....?
