I have a flat in Virar on Pagdi System since 1992. My Parents used to stay there till 2006. as it was on 3rd floor, it was difficult for them to climb every day. hence on consultation with the landlord we shifted them to another flat in Virar, & rented that flat to someone. We used to share the rent we received from the tenant @ 50% ratio.
Since my father expired in 2012, the landlord started acting strange & is not allowing to rent it to someone. we are OK with that. Since 2012 he stopped taking rent. we started sending by money order, he refused to accept. we still are sending it & he is not accepting it,
He wants my mom to stay @ the flat. which we can not as she is old.
Can we pay the rent to the court?
Is there any other way?
