What rights i have on my father property

my father had 200 sq yards land ,, now my father made my marriage 10months back, now my father without informing me he sold the land ,, in my marriage he said that 50% land he will give to me but there is no paper work that he told he will give ,, but he said infront of persons who came for talking for my marriage decision, now do i have rights to stop the deal
