What is time limit to remove office objections after filing

Dist Consumer Form passed Order in my favour on 16. 02. 16. Order received by O.P. on 11.03. 16. My Opponent lodged Appeal before Maha State Consumer Commn on 29. 04. 16 citing delay of 19 days. On checking file, I found that although Appeal lodged on 29. 04. 16, Opp Party Appellant deliberately kept it pending and removed office objections only on 14. 06. 16, a dealy of 45 days. So I want to know whether the Appeal can be dismissed by default as Appellant did not remove office objections immediately? Can Appellant take indefinite time to remove office objection? Is there any time limit for Appellant to remove office objectins, say within 8 days from date or lodging etc? Can I argue before the State Comm that delay in filing of Appeal is not "19" days as claimed by Appelant, but "45" days, that is from last date 10. 04. 2016, up to 14. 06. 2016, the date on which Appellant removed office objections and the Appeal was numbered and registered. Please advise. Thanks.
