The case has been returned on some ground to the party who filed it. It is not a disposal on merits. Since it has been returned after contest from the opposite party, I think it must have been done on the ground of territorial and pecuniary jurisdiction or on the ground of maintainability.

Thanks to Subramanian and Mahesh for your valuable advice.
The case is DVA, filed in 2014 and I have submitted counter for their complaint. It was time for their chief examination and suddenly they dint appear to court hearings and I could see the comments about the case when viewed using court website, my advocate is out of station and he will back in 2 days.
I have a doubt, the case is over or not ?
