What is the deferance between transfer and import?

Transfer of materials means transfering rights title in the said material rightly held by the owner by way of consideration for valid reason in accordance to law, may be for a domestic purpose which we also called as Sale and may also not be sale , for which taxes are applicable less complex can be handled properly and have a well control over situations in the transaction,,,, Well as import of material from a foreign country is more complicated for that the best thing is to appoint a freight forwarder  to do the needful,,

In short, in layman's language, what material you sell, gift or supply that will be transfer. On the other hand, what supply of material you receive from some foreign country by purchase or otherwise that is treated as import, irrespective of whether that attracts or not any customs duty.
