What is police action when filed fake complaint

I have tasted a different situation, they filed a civil case against our family on police station.

SI called me, i have explained the situation about domestic violence and dowry, but I don;t want to file a case under dowry act against my sisters husband and his family.

The question is: what if my brother-in-law files a Fake criminal complaint against me. Do the police enquiry without writing FIR, or misuse for corruption. how can i protect from police. In rural Areas mostly corrupted police, I have seen.

police will usually do a enquiry ..before registernig FIR..

but if they are bribed,they can still register for a fake FIR..

be prepare with the process to quash it.. crpc 482.

know the law..rather than being bothered about corurpt officers.

The Supreme Court has recently ruled that the High Courts can quash an FIR against a person if it did
not prima facie disclose any offence.

dear onlinekingdom, let them file false case. you just wait & watch. do not initiate action as per my personal suggestion. time is biggest healer. follow procrastination.
