What is Patent Infringement?

 Patent rights are the exclusive rights granted by the Government to an inventor over his invention for a limited period of time. Say in case, any third party uses, manufactures, sells, or offers the patented invention for the commercial purpose, and the third party is not licensed to do so by the patent holder, such violation constitutes of Patent infringement. However, the use of the patented invention by the government permitted under the patent act would not amount to patent infringement.
