What if national holiday falls on weekend

Respected sir/madam,

I want to know that if national holiday falls on weekend and employee does not work for that day what will be the wages for for that day. whether we require to pay at double wages one for weekend and another for national holiday. In regards to above situation supreme court has been given judgement for the same can anybody tell me what is the case detail.
