I have applied for Voter id when i was 21 years old. But till now i haven't received. My name is in Voter's list along with my family members. Whenever i ask tashildhar he is not replying properly. He simply says that you have to mentioned in your application that you have lost Voter ID and request for new one. Two years before i have applied for lost voter id card. Eventhough there is no response.
Why i am not able to get that? Please tell me what is the procedure ?

Approach/apply to State Election Commissioner giving all the details.
Wait for about a fortnight and issue legal notice through local lawyer, if no positive response is there, followed by writ of mandamus in High Court.
