people often submitting fake experience for the government jobs. during the verification Will, the government official really checks the experience certificates thoroughly??. like, contact the worked company asking details based on fake certificates. if that is happened what are the legal issues should the defaulter's/ candidate faced ??/

The recruiter may check as per IT's SoP, or even upon say; complaint.
In case of anything that is misconduct the action as per Conduct and discipline rules can be initiated.
IT may lead to termination/dismissal.
IT may lead to complications.
Employee must not tender fake certificates.
