My marriage is not registered yet and I am facing 498a within 6 months of marriage. Is it justified? Lawyers have eaten a good amount from us so far in the name of interim and permanent bail.
Can you suggest what can be done now?

If all the customs are followed (marriage cards are distributed , other customs are followed ) then marriage is valid marriage ....even it is not registred.
better define strategy and fight 498a.
