I had posted a query "whether an unregistered society collect donations from the general public?" If there is such a society doing this, whom should we complain about it?

Do you mean a Society which should have been registered under the Societies Registration Act? There is no law as such to prevent collection of donations. It will be like an individual collecting donations. But if you want to sue the Society for any reason, you will have to sue the individuals, running the Society only .
