A flat in a co-operative housing society in in my fathers name. He originally purchased it from the builder. My father has passed away.The current co-op hsg society share certificate is in my fathers name. I have a brother. Will the ownership of the flat be transferred to my mothers name by default? Does a transfer of society share certificate indicate proof of ownership? Or does a Index 2 document indicate ownership?
