Tm prosecution

Dear friends, I would like to know once the trade mark agent files the application by postal can he give replies to the registrar during the time of prosecution through email? Whether registrar would consider his replies? Pls guide me on this as i want to become a TM agent. Thanks in advance. Sindhur.
