Hello,
I wish to know if tenant can tender rent in the form of demand draft on the date scheduled for payment or he needs to tender rent in cash on the scheduled date.The rented property is in Chandigarh.
Is demand draft and cash both acceptable to be tendered on the scheduled date to avoid eviction?

he needs to have a proof that the draft/cash was tendered by him and acceptance denied.

The demand draft was accepted under protest in the court.Can order for eviction be soughted out in the high court?
