Hi, I am working and living in chennai and my parents are living in my home town and we have a land in my mother's name at my home town.

I want to take home loan and want to construct house in that land where my parents will be living. I have asked different banks about the home loan, they said they will give me the loan even though i am not the owner of the property. But my question is can i avail tax benefit for the principal and the interest for the hoam loan taken and paid by me where the owner of the home is my mother.
