Dear all, I have purchased a Flat with valid ATS Agreement to Sale in 2014 from a builder who today is behind the bars for a bank fraud of few hundred crores. Now he is not going to complete the construction of flats neither common amenity. Property might get captured by relevant agencies in a very short period from now. Can i surrender my property to the bank in an official way ? And what will be the repercussions ? I know my CIBIL score will go down. But what would be the financial settlement in such a surrender. I have paid complete 04 years or repayment out of total 16 years.
