Legal heir certificate is required to obtain succession certificate

Legal heir is issued by municipal certificate showing you being a legal heir of the deceased, it can be used both in case of will and intestate succession. Whereas in case of succession certificate the same is issued by court to succeed over the property of the deceased, and issued to the successor of property in case of intestate succession.
