State act or central act which has to be followed?

I would like to know does a court follow a State Act or a Central Act for decision making on a property.

For example

For a property situated in Uttar Pradesh, whether U.P Land Revenue Act(State Act)  or Transfer of Property Act(Central Act) will be followed by the court when making any decisions?

These both Act are distinct and  have no common similar application  although the scope may  be of transfer of property.  The court can refer to either r of them depending upon the nature of application.

Thanks Sir for your reply.

The query is, as per the Transfer of property act sec 60 it says that the mortgagor can redeem the property anytime when the principle amount is due.

However, U.P Land Revenue Act, it says that the mortgagor can only deposit money within 30 days from the date of auction.
