Service tax payment history

Iam working in central govt office. We wish to verify the originality of the service tax payment challan made by contractor . Is there any procedure to get the service tax payment history of a particular contractor

Dear Ravikumar,

Please call for a certificate from the bank through which contractor is making a payment. Being into government office you can call for this information directly from the banker without informing contractor.

The banker will be oblidged to provide you the information for all the years called by you.
