Dear all

 

My Client is Exporting rough granite blocks to various countries. My client is purchasing the rough blocks against form H. My client is paying Service Tax for GTA. (Service Receiver). For Clearing the Goods Shipping agents billed for handling charges with service tax to our client. My Question is Whether Tax Credit is taken for handling charges Bills for set off of ST againt GTA Payable. It is Urgent. Please help me

Dear Mr. Mohan,

Service tax on GTA has to be paid in cash and no credit can be taken agaisnt it.
