IS SERVICE TAX APPLICABLE TO THE ADVOCATES WHO PRACTICE ALONE AND NOT WITH ANY FIRM MEANS RUNING A PROPRIETORY CONCERN. AND WHAT IF ADVOCATE RUNNING A  LEGAL FIRM.

Mr. Mehta,

The Delhi Bar Association has filed a Writ Petition in the Delhi High Court being W.P. (c) 2792 of 2011 to challenge the levy of service-tax on “Legal Consultancy Services”.

Just check out the interim order attached herewith for your reference.
