Separation in old age

Dear All,

Please advise a solution for a 55 year old lady (owner of the house), who wants to separate and throw her husband (58YO) and without income, out of the house, for indulging in adultery with the house maid. This adultery cannot be proven but is clear as he was caught red handed. The lady is physically incapable because of sickness and feels threatened by him, who may harm her or her property.

Get proofs by recording, It will cost you 2000/- to get a recording instrument ......................then expose the husband by escalating the matter to relatives/society. Remove the maid from Job, ensure she does not get employed anywhere.

If the husband is a nuisance and a gone case then next option is to legally get a restraining order from court with help of DV

1) Immediately replace the female maid with another elderly woman or a male, if available in the area. To prove adultery on the husband is difficult which he also knows.

2) Are there any children to the old couple? Take the assistance of NGOs or neighbours in the locality/ society in fixing the husband at this age and establish the cruelty towards the old lady.

3) The last resort is only to file complaint under DV Act though not advisable at this old age but in helpless condition as described seeking legal remedy.

Thanks all for the advise. Would like to check if the police can take an FIR before we bring the matter to light, as we are sure that he would create a big nuisance.
