Hi, one of our employee expired one month back due to cardiac arrest. Got married one month back. During his DOJ his nominee was his father. Now, since he is married, wife is demanding 100% compensation from company. His parents are very poor. So, they are also expecting some compensation from the company/PF department. So, how can we take it forward this issue. Do we need to give for parents or to his wife. Please suggest

@ Adv.Manik Sehgal:  There are many sandard templates and search in google or contact any counsel that deals with such cases.  Almost all forums have uploaded such formats.

@Prakash:  You have already opened a separate post and received reply.  Intruding into a post opened by othes and instead of responding to that query in the post, posting a new issue is against discipline of the forum.  Please avoid this.  As suggested settle the nomination and before that let them work a compromise and let the nominee issue a cheque in favour of wife at agreed amount, before parting with such nominated payment.  Wife is Class 1 legal heir and enjoys absolute rights on her husband's property, even if husband dies one day after marriage.
