Dear Mr Mehta,
There are many defences which people take to delay the recovery under SARFAESI. It would be better if you could detail your query. What is the status of the Due? Is NPA time barred? What is the stage of proceedings? Which Notice has been received u/s 13 (2) or 13(4)?
Hon'ble Supreme Court has give detailed Judgments defining the proceedure which should be adopted on the issue.

Mr chandrashekhar people have problems and hence can not pay , you can not sent every body in jail.
Regarding the SARFAESI act there are no of methods to delay but it depends on case to case.

Dear Mr.Mehta,
I suggest you may refer one of the celebrated case decided by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, in the matter of M/s.Maradia Chemicals, judgement copy has been posted in the site couple of days ago.
