Salute the Great Cricketer.......Bengal Tiger...

Salute the Great Cricketer.......Bengal Tiger...

Its time for Indian Cricket to remember - "Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, but beautiful experienced people are works of art".

Even though Ganguly has announced his retirement, it is just from Cricket but not from the heart of Indians.

This is a sad phase for Indian Cricket losing out on one of the dexterous servants of Indian Cricket. The most unfortunate thing is he was forced to retire. How many times did this happen in India!!

How should we term the Bengal Tiger? Is it "Gan-guly" or "Gun-guly" or "Gone-guly"????

When he took over the Indian captaincy from Sachin Tendulkar, which is considered to be the most difficult job in the Cricketing world, who has ever spared a thought that the Tiger would force India to become a potent force!!

He is the man of comebacks, but for every comeback there should be an opportunity.

Remember his captain's knock of 143 in Brisbane, 183 knock in Tauton, leading India to the 2003 World cup finals, the popular shirt-waving Natwest final against England, historic 2001 series win against the mighty Aussies, and the list goes on and on...He is India's most successful captain leading India to 21 wins from 49 matches.

Sanath Jayasuriya is playing at the age of 39, David Houghton played at the age of 41, take the cases of Hayden, Hussey, Lara, a lot of names to mention. In Indian Cricket, anyone crossing the age of 30 is considered as old and bound to be retired.

The world should remember that Ganguly is not a person to ruin but to rein. Come on members, respect the great cricketers for their service. One need not honour them, atleast one need's to respect them.
