Salary deductions

Particulars of salary Monthly � Basic Pay 8530.00 HRA 3412.00 LTA 1871.00 Children Education Allowance 200.00 Conveyance Allowance 1600.00 Medical Allowance 1250.00 Telephone Allowance 1250.00 Uniform Allowance 1250.00 � � � Total 19363.00 Gross 232356.00 Gross annually � � � Employer share EPF 1024.00 Employer share ESI 920.00 � � � Total CTC 21307.00 255684.00 � From gross there will be further deduction of 1400 or 1500 of employee part of pf and ESI. �Means out of 21300 CTC there will be around 3500 deductions. Isnt it much? What can I negotiate with HR to increase my in hand salary if above mentioned break up of salary is given to me? Please help. �

PF and ESI are beneficial for employee.

Raising PF contribution is beneficial for employee.

The benefits offered by ESI are unmatchable.

Employee can negotiate on take home/in hand salary and decline to negotiate on CTC/Gross.

The negotiations on CTC/Gross are between employer-employee and both can agree on anything that is mutually acceptable.
