I am working at Axis Bank as cashier, there were an incident of cash stolen/shortage on 12/01/2017. Police FIR was lodged under section 409 and the same has been closed with court ourder on 05/08/2017. Meanwhile bank FCM departement suggested to branch manager to recover stolen amount Rs 6,00,000 from employee & bank disciplinary commiitee (Corporate Affairs) penalised employee under section x of bank's code of conduct & ethics. Only two penalities imposed that is there will no increment & promotion for next financial year. When police FIR closed and they stated that the cash was stolen by unkown person & cashier not taken the money.
Now branch manager marked lien in salary account for 6 lakh(recovery of cash shortage) without giving any show cause notice even after when banks corporate affairs penalised & polics also given their clean decision in favour of cashier.
Salary getting credited but not able to withdraw a single ruppe in the name of salary. Loan EMI also getting bounced & living is very difficult.
