The workshop focuses on the ICC redressal and its practical requirements and necessities.
What will the workshop cover?
- Legal terms such as Sexual Harassment, Employee, Workplace and the nuances related to them and psychological impact.
-Composition, term, and roles and responsibilities of the internal complaints committee.
-Powers of a civil court which have been granted to the internal complaints committee and understanding the concepts such as evidence, summons and oath.
-The different forms of resolution available to the ICC: formal & informal mechanism including timelines.
-Process of Investigation and how to handle personal bias and conflict of interest
-Case studies and role-plays
The masterclass would cover challenges faced by the internal complaints committee, addressing malicious complaints and handling the complaints with confidentiality.

Ms. Anuradha Sharma, Former Chairperson -LCC, Gurguram
-During the tenure of three years as Chairperson-LCC, she has gathered vast experience in the domain of Sexual Harassment of Women at Work Place and prevention of the same.
-Disposed more than 70 complaints of Sexual Harassment of Women at Work Place, decisions of which have been upheld by Hon’ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana.
-Assisted District Officer in the formation of a team of Nodals and crafted framework for execution of Sexual Harassment of Women at Work Place, SHWW Act, 2013 in Gurgaon District.
-Imparted training to various Officers in interpreting the Act, running of procedure and execution of processes envisaged in the said Act.

- She is an advocate and a certified s*xual harassment and workplace diversity advisor.
- She is a part of several Internal Complaints Committees and has hands-on experience in dealing with POSH cases in MNCS, Corporates.
