Reporting someone faking as a police officer

Today while driving to office(Noida, Uttar Pradesh) i was stopped by a person. I was driving in wrong lane near an office premise as i had parked there for sometime. The person was driving a car with Police written on it. he was very young but he said he was DCP and tried to fight with me. I drove away saying i do not trust he is in police he can take my no. and report me. He chased me did rash driving and stopped in front of my car. An accident could have occurred. After interventions from passer by i was able to go. I had to reach office early so was not able to do anything. I wanted to report this incident as i think this person's behaviour was dangerous. Should i go ahead or is it stupidity getting involved in such a case?

Dear,

You better go ahead, because if today you are lucky enough to escape, but you are not sure what can happen to you or anyone in future.
