hello, i am planning to rent out my flat in chennai to govt staffs who are awaiting for some allotment from the government for a flat..these are mid level officers... i am being told that all the rent and advance (only 5 months will be given) will come directly as government issued cheques...and the flat will be maintained well by govt alloted servants for the officers.. how safe is it to let out to govt staffs.......i am only concerned from a delayed payment perspective when dealing with government..kindly share your experience or advise on this regard........the rental period is for 11 months...
