Rental agreement

Hello,


Can someone please let me know under the Indian Rental Act / Karnataka Rental Act whose duty it is to get a rental agreement done?

To be more precise should the tenant buy the stamp paper and the get the rental agreement printed on it or is it the landlords duty?

For any agreement on stamp paper, the stamp paper has to be bought in the name of any one of the parties executing the agreement. So either tenant or the landlord can buy in hi/her name.
