Rent agreement issue

Hi, I had rented a property at ahmedabad, gujarat recently. Now, the actual owner of the property passed away last month and the property is handled by his son, the electricity bill is also in the name of actual owner, can I make a rent agreement with the son of the actual owner as I need rent agreement to be furnished in my company where I work for the address proof to open a salary account.Please advice immediately,
