Releving issue

Hi ,

Iam working in MNC which is located in chennai.I placed notice on april 6.my organisation notice period is 3 months.

so it should end by july 6th . i have other offer which i have to join on july 10th .i keep on sending mails to them

to let me know the releving date .but they are not responding .if they wont give me releiving letter on july 6th what can i do in legal manner..????

Please let me know what i have to do in remaining days.>>

If employee is retiring by resignation then employee shall chosse the LWD and not employer.

Why would you fel hat employer shall not issue releiving letter to you?

You can ask next employer to pre pone joining date on mutually acceptable terms .

You can request current employer to extend your LWD on mutually acceptable terms .

Don't withdraw notice of resignation submitted by you.

What is its nature of business say; IT, ITeS?

How many persons are employed in it?
What is your designation and nature of duties?

How many persons report to you?

Do you have any power to sanction leave/increment/appoint/terminate/appraise etc etc ?

You are in which state?
Since how many months you are working?
Do standing orders (model/certified) apply to establishment and your designation?

What is notice period as per appointment letter/offer letter and what was notice period tendered by you?

Was ever any stinker, memo, show cause notice on any misconduct issued to you?

Are you a member of employee’s/trade unions?
