My existing Passport expires in July 2012. It contains US Visa valid till december 2016. Now I have to apply for
Reissue of New passport. I have been told that Visa can not be transferred from Old Passport to new Passport.What steps should I take to keep Validity of My US Visa inTact, while applying for New Passport. . Am I suppose to inform the passport authority SPECIFICALLY?
Please guide me.
