Just to give quick BG so I was forced into an affair by threat by brother's wife that she would commit suicide or file case against my entire family for dowry harassment. Due to same I was commited into it but I had been NRI for almost 10 years now and everytime i visited country she would come in and force me into it. She threatened me and my parents if I get married she would again do same. Due to this constant pressure, I decided to get married 2.5 years back outside itself, but now she has made sure to convince my brother that all this has been from my side and now my brother blames me for her health condition (which has always been worst even before anything started) and since I had to visit India is threatening me of filing Section 497 ( at mumbai as he is here for a visit). And she is threatening to file Section 376 ( she is currently in UP). The last time I ever spoke to them on a call or email has been almost 2.5 years back. There has been no photos that shows us in relationship but email exchanges which does not explicitly say affair but more towards how we miss each other etc as I did not want to hurt her that moment to avoid her committing suicide. She had also sent me couple of photos threatening she is doing it which made me very scared 3 years back but I decided to get married as this was just going on with no end. So on what basis can police register their complaints and what can I do so I can travel back safely.
