Regarding Signatures to be taken during registration

Hi,

I am planning to buy agricultural land of 4 acres out of 6 acres(Ancestral property). The long time owner (old guy) died some years back. and now the official record is having his wife, daughters and kids of his (Died person) Son as his son and son's wife both have died.

Now my question is whom and all I need to ask for the signature during the registration?

Just the joint owners is enough? Basically this covers wife, daughters and grandchildren (Son's kids) of the died person.

Also Grandchildren are married and have kids.. Do I need to take the signatures of wives of grandchildren? or it is not required?

Please do let me know. Thank you so much in advance.

Best Regards
Ramu
