Our Society is registered society. We are in redevelopment process. there is 1 member of society on which we had imposed penalty by passing resolution in meeting. the same is not accepted by member. since penalty is charged every month & interest on non payment is also charged. the due amount is become big. The member still make payment of regular bill except Penalty & Inrerest. Now Since we are going for redevelopment we are trying to short out the issue. Due to ego of few committee members the due member is not ready for redevelopment. Society says that Due to Majority we can obey the 2 to 3 members who are not with us.
What is possible that the memer who is not ready for redevelopment can do as the project will be for atleast 3 years.
Is there any byelow that can provide detail that penalty can not be charges every month? Interest on the same is also not charged?
As one of the member i am worried for the litigation related to the meber may delay or damage to us also.
