it is legal but you can't use it against him because you recorded without his permission. You can use it to protect yourself.

Everything is there in the cloud and is on records. For any legal purpose, you have to do legally through Service Provider. You cannot just clandestinely do somehing on your own and produce in the court as evidence.

Whether it is legal or not depends on how the recording was used ultimately. Yes. Cell phone companies may record the conversation, at the request of law enforcement authorities only.

private recording of phone calls is not permitted , go to court and get order to record else you will be charged for voilating article 21
