Re-marriage if accused in 306/498a

Dear Learned Advisers I am an accused in 306/498A case and being a widower would like to remarry considering future of my child. Will this effect my ongoing trial? What could be the repurcations? Regards Rajat Suresh

8 years of marriage, wife committed suicide, in-laws filed 498a and 306. PW closed and zero exhibit so far. Please suggest if i can remarry now

You are free to remarry inspite of the criminal prosecution against you that may take many yeras to complete.Nothing wrong if you remarry as it will be completely legal second marriage for you.

Yes,  there will be no legal problems regarding your second marriage.

You can re marry no legal hurdle is there, but one thing kept in your mind the criminal case is running against you the procedure of 174 crpc is against you and you are charged for it u/s 306/498a ipc, if charged is proved then on conviction you will be put behind the bars for years .
