New category for important and latest judgments

New category created for posting important and latest judgments

This category is created for sharing the important and latest judgments of the Supreme Court and High Courts, Tribunals etc on various topics of law like Arbitration, Securitisation, Maintenance, Divorce, 138 NI Act, Custody, Bail, Infringement of Trade Marks, Probate, Succession, Fundamental Rights, Minority Rights, Partition, Termination, Bonus, Back wages, CLAT, etc....The list is endless.

Members can create new posts and post judgments on these topics. Members need not post the entire judgment, but a head note along with citation would do. If they have the full text of judgment, the same can be attached as a file, instead.

To head to the judgement category click here

Regards

ADmin

Note: Kindly do not post the judgments here. Instead create a new topic and select Judgments category and submit the post.

Dear Admin,

It is wonderfull movement and helpfully for all of us, so that we could easlly find out the Judgment relating to the subject matter, withoout any difficlut.

Once again thnz.

Adv Archana Deshmukh (Practicing Advocate)     12 October 2010

Very good move, thanks :) It will be useful to all. Just one suggession, it will be better if the members posting just citations and not the entire judgement, will quote the name of the parties along with the case number if available to them, because many times some journal may not be available to everyone in need of that judgement, so if case no. and date of decision is also quoted, then it can be found out from the net also.

A welcome move by admin...

R.Ramachandran (Advocate)     12 October 2010

While I heartily welcome the move of the Administration, I am little concerned about the way in which it will be implemented like (a) who are will be permitted to post (if every one is permitted to post indiscriminately, the intended purpose would not be served); (b) who will ensure that the judgement in question is properly parked in its earmarked area; (c) how to ensure that the same judgement has not been posted repeatedly and under different file names (d) should there not be segregation between decisions by Tribunals / HCs and SC etc. etc.

Administration has to take care of these aspects.

Good initiative on the part of the Admin. I wish it will not be difficult for Admin to implement the ideas of the experts Mr. R.Ramachandran and Ms. Archana. All the best for the new initiative. It will also be better if someone can monitor these threads so as to avoid repetitions and to sort the Judgements yearwise and Courtwise so that the readers will easily go to the required judgements and get what they want.

Rama mohan Acharya (Manager HR(Legal))     13 October 2010
